Each chapter below is this map with its controls set a particular way. The map on the right is the map itself, not a picture of it: the figures in these panels are read out of the same payloads the map reads, as you pass them.
Chapters are separate. Opening one walks only that chapter, and it ends rather than running into the next. The wheel works over the map as well as over the text, and clicking any basin at any point leaves the script so you can read your own.
